Redaktionsnotiz (Los F2-D, 2026-08-12): Ein Druckstock, der nach Waidhofen wanderte
Auf dem Eichel-Daus eines Spiels aus Waidhofen an der Ybbs wurde eine Inschrift nachtraeglich weggeschraffiert. Sie ist mit Muehe zu entziffern und lautet „JOHANN DAEMPF IN STATAMHOF" (Wolfgang Altfahrt, Der Kartenmacher Schönleitner aus Waidhofen an der Ybbs, TALON 21/2013, S. 28) — der Holzdruckstock dieses Stadtamhofer Kartenmachers gelangte also in die Werkstatt Gotthard Schoenleitners (Q4680) und wurde dort unter neuem Namen weiterverwendet. Altfahrt: „Wie dieser Holzdruckstock nach Waidhofen in den Besitz Schenleitners kam, ist uns leider nicht bekannt."
Die Altenburger Kartenmacherliste datiert Johann Daempf mit 1724; dieses Item fuehrt Stadtamhof 1718–1744 (BDK-Studien 55) — die Angaben decken einander.
Kein Statement geschrieben: das Modell kennt keine Beziehung zwischen einem Akteur und einem Druckstock. Der Befund ist aber der Grund, warum in Waidhofen ein Spiel mit einem bayerischen Namen darunter liegt.
