Redaktionsnotiz (Los G13, 2026-08-12): ab 1807 führt das Adreßbuch die Witwe

Altfahrts Register führt den Eintrag „SIMON, Mathias 1789 – 1812“. Die Zeile für 1807 lautet aber „M. Simons sel. Wwe und Joseph Fitz, k.k. priv. Spielkarten Fabrikant“ — „sel.“ heißt selig, also verstorben. Sein Sterbejahr ist damit spätestens 1807; ein genaues Datum nennt keine Quelle.

Die Zeilen 1807, 1808 und 1809–1812 stehen deshalb jetzt bei Kartenfabrik Mathias Simon. Auch die beiden späteren gehören dorthin: Altfahrt druckt einen Namen nur, wenn er sich ändert, und die Adresse läuft ohne Bruch weiter (Gumpendorf 194 → 194 und 281 → 281). Wer immer dort 1808–1812 arbeitete — Mathias Simon war es nicht.

Sein eigener belegter Zeitraum endet damit 1806.
